What is the difference between a Cast and Calendared vinyl?
Cast – Fine PVC powder is liquefied and cast onto a sheet. Expensive to produce cast but are the best for high performance applications.
Calendared – Fine PVC powder that is extruded, mixed and rolled out almost like a clump of dough. Less expensive to produce calendar films and lower grade products tend to or can shrink.
